"The popularity of the Isle of Skye has resulted in inflated prices for accommodations. This hotel is really an oversized B&B, but merits no more than 3.5 stars as a hotel. At check-in no offer of help was made to carry luggage up the threadworn stairs to the room. At dinner, an extra place setting was left on the table throughout the meal. The bar/pub was authentic and more appropriate for an establishment of this size."
