"The property is well located next to all the tour boats, restaurants, nightclubs, and so on. However, being in the center of town also comes with all the associated drawbacks: noise, traffic, congestion, poor upkeep, etc."

"Booked and paid for an ocean view room with a balcony but only garden view rooms were available so instead of the waves crashing I heard the property next door doing Los construction all day long …. Other than that the place was great "

Tropical Suites Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"There was an issue with the room because of heavy rains and nothing under the hotels control, but the way the team handled everything was truly outstanding. The staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely eager to make things right. They went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and well taken care of, which made all the difference.
Despite the hiccup, I left with a very positive impression and would happily stay here again. The hotel is in a great location and the beach club is really nice! We even saw dolphins in the sea when sitting at the pool's bar which was insane.

"Stayed recently for 4 nights. A beautiful property the street from a pretty beach and just down the street from a more usable beach to spend time on. The managers, Steve and Karen, are lovely people that we really enjoyed talking with, very attentive to our needs and helped us out with getting payment to a restaurant when we didn't have cash, but had planned on paying by card. I LOVED the A/C and it would cool down the room fairly quickly, which was great. Bed was comfy, the bathroom nice, everything was quaint and clean. Breakfast was DELICIOUS!! Dama prepared (as well as Karen) made delicious omelettes, sausage dishes, coconut bread, home-made jams (SO yummy!). Only suggestions are: (this one is TOUGH, I know) an elevator (Steve brought up my bag-so kind). Some info. about arrival, as we sat in our taxi at the gate for quite awhile, trying to call and get a hold of someone to let us in. Had my son jump the short gate (didn't know it was unlocked). Met Steve, he said all taxi drivers know to just come in, ours didn't. I was disappointed to find out that we couldn't flush our TP down the toilet. I this to be common in Latin America, but with charge for nice B&B, seems an investment could be made in plumbing, but maybe it just doesn't work in Bocas del Toro. Otherwise FANTASTIC place to stay. Nice and quiet -peaceful. Power went out for 25 min. one night, but came on quickly. Steve and Karen are great! "
"I had the most amazing experience at Nowhere. It really feels like you leave the rest of the world behind when you step into Bocas... Nowhere takes you further. You wake with the sun (be sure to pack an eye mask if you like to sleep in).
I went during rainy season and watching the rain thru the overhead window or side window was magical. It's quiet and secluded, but the staff aren't far away. They will even help you spot monkeys and sloths for those photo opps.
Barefoot luxury is how i would describe. The beach and restaurants are across the road. Bocas Town is a 45 min walk or quick taxi away (taxis ride up and down the road all day/ evening).
True tea... there's no TV or AC or other creature comforts, but that's kind of the point. You really don't miss them. And as far as AC goes, they provide an oscillating fan. I actually kept it off most of the time bc it was well ventilated with the windows.
Keep an open mind and have a blast!!"
"This was a great place for winding down for a couple of nights at the end of our 10-day Panama trip. We were impressed with the attentive staff who worked so hard to make things easy and comfortable. And the food at the restaurant was delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed the the open air dining room as well as the full beachfront service for lunch and drinks. The water in the area is much too rough for swimming, but we took long walks on the immaculate and isolated Bluff Beach, and when we felt like a dip, we swam in the pool. Our room with a king bed and jungle view was simple, very clean, and carefully appointed with a comfortable bed and luxury linens. They even supplied yoga mats in our room. There are board games, a ping pong table, and a billiards table for entertainment. We also appreciated the eco-friendly efforts, such as the use of solar panels and a refillable water bottle service. We would have signed up for their jungle hike tour but the guide was not available on the particular days that we were staying. We instead relaxed on the beach, being mesmerized by the crashing waves. Thank you to the staff and management who helped make our Panama vacation so memorable!"
"We enjoyed our stay, from the first second to the last moment, all the staff was very kind and attentive, we also booked a very nice tour with them and would like to come back soon!!"
"We went here for peace, the jungle, birds, the ocean. Oh MAN did it deliver. Lovely high perched cabins right in the trees. The cabins are basically brand new, the lovely smell of wood still lingers. Sealed tight as a drum, you can lie in bed and be a part of the jungle with the screened windows wide open, a part of nature. I’ve never been woken by howler monkeys at 6am and it’s an experience I will never forget. The beach is right down the road. David is so helpful and friendly. He even made a grocery run for us so we could luxuriate over breakfasts after morning birding! Cabs are available at a phone call or just going up and down the road. The rough roads lead to even more amazing jungle or small beach community experiences. Chocolate farms, ex-Pat bars, superb restaurants, starfish loaded beaches, tropical birds beyond your wildest dreams. The warmest, kindest locals. I didn’t want to leave this enchanted world. "
