"The property itself is beautiful - quiet, peaceful, and perfect if you’re looking to relax and disconnect a bit. The room was in great shape and very comfortable. There's no direct beach access from the hotel, but right out front you'll find a surf spot. Even if you don't surf, watching the surfers battle the waves is oddly entertaining and a great way to spend time doing nothing (in the best way). The hotel offers a shuttle to a lovely sandy beach, which is a nice touch. Just a heads-up: the waves can be pretty intense, so swimming is mostly for the brave, the confident, or the slightly reckless. Last but definitely not least - the staff. Seriously amazing. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind."

The rooms were spotless. The windows are screened but no glass, so you can hear the birds, monkeys and the ocean. Modern conveniences in a super relaxed environment. The grounds are immaculate, they take great care of the flora and there are many hummingbirds and butterflies. The beach is beautiful, but the waves were too rough for swimming this time of year. Try the Chinese food next door at the Playa, Stephanie and her staff were also excellent. The only downside was that we could not stay longer. "

"We received a room upgrade due to being assigned the wrong room upon arrival. The room was brand new and large with a comfortable bed and huge bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
