Top Invergarry Hotel Reviews

Linnhe Lochside Holidays
8/10 Good

The Caledonian Hotel
6/10 Okay
"The hotel is a bit out of Fort William so you do need to drive in for dinner etc. The staff were very friendly.
The room had clearly been updated nicely recently. The corridors were obviously yet to be done.
The bar had very little character, i personally preferred to find somewhere a bit more atmospheric selling a wider selection of local drinks.
Breakfast was good with a good selection of cold and hot foods.
We did not eat dinner at the hotel as we weren't very inspired by the menu.
The room was pretty small as a triple room but we werent staying long so it was manageable.
Overall it was good value for the money but a little uninspiring."

Isle of Skye Guest house
10/10 Excellent
"I had a great stay at this self-service accomodation"

Alexandra Hotel
4/10 Poor
"The rooms were not clean. My friend’s room had hair in the bathroom and the shower did not work. The ceiling in my bathroom had black mold. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls. We did not have rooms as nice as the ones shown. Maybe some of the rooms are nice? The manager was very professional and pleasant. The woman at the front desk when we checked in was very matter of fact in a “we’re sold out tonight not much we can do” way.
Breakfast was the worst we had in our 9 days in Scotland.
The front desk also said we booked with Expedia and had to take it up with Expedia so keep that in mind. This room should cost £100 not the nearly £300 they charged. "

Kings Arms Hotel
2/10 Terrible
"Tired old cold hotel"

The Garrison
8/10 Good
"Rooms were clean, staffwas courteous enough. The location of hotel is very convenient to reach places and also for food. The hotel is on high street and boat rides are just across the road. There is limited parking infront of hotel.
Down sides are on-going construction which make sit a bit noisy during day and also dusty. The suites were behind the main bulding without any lifts, so we had to carry our luggage upstairs without any help from staff.
The rooms deco was good. Two downsides were the power shower has very poor pressure and they should consider upgrading the electric shower to one with pumps. Other down side was that the sofa bed was very uncomfortable due to springs from mattress would abutt against the body. Property should consider upgrading that as well. The hot breakfast has only one option for vegetarians and should provide more options for £12 charged.
All in all, it was a bittersweet experience.
I hope in new ongoing construction work, property will consider some of the suggestions.
When we go next time to Fort williams, i will shortlist this place as one of the options but would go for some other if available. "

Ben Nevis Hotel & Leisure Club
8/10 Good
"Our room was quite basic and a bit dated, but clean and tidy. There was a great selection of options for breakfast and it was delicious! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely meal the night before for my Dad's 80th and the food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. Thank you!"

Morar Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"One night stay to put me in the right position for onward travel, perfect for that being so conveniently located opposite the train station.
Had an early start so didn't have breakfast, but did enjoy a nice evening meal of steak pie and chips, with a great view from the restaurant.
Struggled a bit to get my room at the right temperature and didn't sleep brilliantly, but I don't think that was the fault of the hotel, rather my travel plans meant a 6am train and I was focussed too much on when I needed to get up.
Pleasant and helpful staff on reception and in the restaurant.
I shall certainly be coming back to spend a bit longer and explore the beach and some of the other villages along the railway line."

Tingle Creek Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely family run hotel. The place felt very homely with stunning views of the highland coast, a very good breakfast, easy to find free parking "
