Excellent hotel in the centre of Glasgow, convenient to rail stations, theatre, galleries etc. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The building has been beautifully restored and my room was very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. There is a very comfortable lounge bar and excellent restaurant. Breakfast was delicious.

"The service in the restaurant was very poor. Arrived in the restaurant at 7.45 and one starter arrived at 8.40 and never got the second starter. Food overall was just average and had to request our drinks repeatedly. Not anywhere near what you would expect in a five star hotel."
