This was one of our favorite stays in the G.B. Quiet country setting but still close (8min drive) to city center. Our room was very large and the bed was extremely comfortable. Fully updated bathroom was nice. Only issue we had is that the house has no on site staff and we where hoping to check in early, luckily the owner was just finishing cleaning and gave us all our check in codes and room number. So note to you if you are wanting to check in early you may want to contact owner before arrival day, we did receive an email at 430pm with all our security details and room number. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Inverness area

The only good part was that it is on a secluded, pretty quiet lot and it seemed like there was someone else there overnight but I didnt hear them. They also left a tea service and cookies. Ok now... First off, at that price point I don't expect breakfast but if you advertise it and don't provide it, it's false advertising and that makes me grumpy. Also there was dog (or hopefully not human but I think dog) hair all over the blanket. If you don't have adequate laundry facility don't allow pets, people with allergies could be affected No bathroom hand soap And the room was FREEZING! The heater in the bathroom would not work so even once the room finally got warm the bathroom stayed quite cold And there were room keys left unattended at the check out, not in a lockbox. The front door has a key lock which is good but it seems like anyone coming in or out can access all the keys So... Yeah do not recommend

Very quiet location. Very quaint appearance. The room was large, if a bit musty smelling, and there was no air or other cooling method. The worst was finding what looked to be rodent feces around the bathroom and bedroom. We informed the owner but there has been no response to date. Even if what we found wasn't rodent related, it indicates poor cleaning of the room and bathroom

Our stay at this property wasn’t what we expected. Absolutely no extras, plenty of cupboards but no crockery, cutlery or washing detergent. Several appliances weren’t working properly. The heater in one of the rooms couldn’t be adjusted so was absolutely stifling and the heating towel rail wasn’t working and getting in touch with anybody was difficult. Very disappointed as most of our other stays through the UK have been excellent.
