I loved the self check-in, super convenient. Our room was near the front door so at times it was a bit noisy with people coming and going. A street facing room meant the blinds had to be closed at all times but otherwise, great location in Inverness to the main center.

Overall, a good stay

The walls are very thin and you can hear everyone in the hallway. Sometimes, you can hear them in their rooms. I was unable to control the heat in my room and found that to be a bit annoying. But the room was clean and the owners were nice. The towels were thin and you couldn't check in early or store your bags anywhere until the 330 check-in. I liked that everything had a code. This was a nice stay, but could use a bit of care.

Our automated check-in was easy - just make sure to follow the instructions. The location was fairly convenient, just a few minutes' walk away from the bridge across the river into downtown Inverness. Our room was comfortable. Parking is NOT ideal here - it is a 5-space lot that really only fits 3 cars, so your odds of being blocked-in are pretty high. Luckily, we parked on the right side where we couldn't be blocked in, but we saw this happen to others and the House has a warning for drivers to leave their contact information on their dashboard if they block someone in.

Anything but a silent night.

One chair in large double room, but my real issue is with the selfish inhabitants of the room(s) upstairs. They loudly announced their arrive at around 3am, crashing through the door and talking at full volume. Didn't end there, doors opening and closing, more loud conversations. We packed up and left at 4am and got a taxi to the Premier Inn.

Room was very small but was cute and clean Refrigerator not accessible after a certain time to keep drinks cold. Shower was tiny. My husband is an average size man and literally had to get out in order to lather up. Room needs some sort of fan.
