Small problem called stairs
The only problem is that the Waverley is above other spaces and unfortunately there is no lift which I found a little difficult as stairs are awkward for me being disabled apart from that it's a fantastic place to stay

This property was absolutely disgusting. Many thing in the room were broken. There was water leaking into the bathroom. The bar across the street had the music blaring until 4 in the morning

Room was very basic. Open storage with 2 mixed hangers only No towels on arrival, none available when requested. TV did not work - no signal. Not cheap and not cheerful!

Recent experience
As soon as I walked in my room smelt strange and it was emanating from the carpet. The room was very simple. I checked my bed sheets and they looked clean but I couldn't get over the smell from the carpet. I had a closer luck with the torch on my phone & spotted a bed bug running along the carpet- I've had experience with bed bugs before so I knew what they looked like. They are an absolute nightmare to get rid of once you have them- so I immediately left the guest house and wandered around Inverness at midnight trying to find somewhere else to stay. I won't book here again and wouldn't recommend.

Do not stay here!
The employees smoke just outside the door so smokey inside. Carpeted steps entry dirty and needed vacuumed. Hotel was rough, unvacuumed carpet, duct tape on frayed seam. Room had missing woodwork, mildew on shower ceiling, no ventilation, very temperamental shower, difficult to get temp right. Room door had been recently repaired, with raw wood. Bathroom grout missing or dirty on floor and tile loose and cracked. No hot water in sink or drain stop. Overall it accomplished the purpose of shelter but WAY overpriced for the shabby condition of the place. I will not recommend, very disappointed.

Stairs to reception , room poky and only one curtain up . Only one towel.shelf for wardrobe in very very poor condition and dirty had to use chair for clothes , chair seat saggy and no room by the bed to get in breakfast basic with no staff available to request hot water people sitting smoking on door step when I returned in the evening felt intimidated entering . I am a 76 year old female and I only stayed one night More like a doss house than guest house
