"Lovely stay in a brilliant hotel. Staff on arrival were friendly and welcoming, they even upgraded our room for our anniversary which was a nice touch. The location is perfect, right by the marina and a 5 minute walk from the main strip and the main bus stops to explore the island, a lot of excursions near and the ferry port is a 3 minute walk which is very handy. The hotel was a little old fashioned but I quite liked this style, old skool decor but clean and no issues with the room other than the air con being broken which wasn't ideal. Didn't get to use the pool or spa but I hear they were good. Breakfast was good and I honestly can't compliment the staff more, very helpful and friendly. Thanks for a lovely stay and we'll be back again"

"Best free breakfast we had on our trip. Bottomless mimosas, great cappucinos, 5-star view. This place is excellent value for your money. Staff was really nice and went out of their way to help us. Room was nice and clean and everyone gets a gorgeous ocean view. Only downside: it's a 15 min walk from restaurants, and the onsite restaurant needs to be booked in advance, so plan ahead. Also, I really recommend renting scooters - the front desk staff can have them delivered right to the hotel in half an hour."

"We found this hotel located in a beautiful place, however the property is SO outdated. Our fridge wasn’t working and despite mentioning this to reception it was ignored. The electricity was out for pretty much the whole day, no apology or any notification. The smell of the sewage was horrible in the corridor during this period. The staff were not particularly friendly or informative. The porters were nice and actually offered good advise about the area. The thermal pool was good and the view is stunning. "

"Our stay was fabulous at Mezzatorre. The service staff is spot on. If you’re questioning if it’s worth it - it is. The breakfast was included however we didn’t realize it so we didn’t take advantage of it until the last day and we didn’t really even eat much. Also the thermal spas are included as well. And the bed and toiletries are great as well. We stayed 3 nights and felt like 1 more would have been better. "

"We stayed at Hotel Villa Jantò for five days in October. The views are breathtaking, the rooftop and outdoor pool areas are lovely, and there was a small, heated indoor pool. The free hotel shuttle to nearby towns and the beach is convenient, since the hotel sits atop a steep hill and taxis are surprisingly expensive. The room, however, was a letdown. It felt painfully plain, with white walls and nearly zero decoration—odd for a hotel that otherwise tries to look somewhat bohemian and stylish. There were many insects (don’t leave any food out or it will be swarming with ants within hours), an occasional unpleasant smell, and a toilet so noisy you couldn’t flush it at night without waking the whole floor. There was no kettle for making brews, and the toiletries were so minimal we had to buy our own. Even the hand wash disappeared during our stay, leaving us with none to use. The food was the biggest disappointment. Breakfast, aside from pastries, was cold and uninspired (even the eggs). Both dinners we tried were lacking in flavour, the pasta undercooked, and the prices felt high for what was essentially mediocre fare (considering that the hotel mentions using organic produce from their garden), The receptionist was friendly, but the restaurant and bar staff seemed pretty uninterested. In short, Hotel Villa Jantò delivers on views and location, but if you’re hoping for comfortable rooms and decent food, temper your expectations—or prepare to be underwhelmed."
