"We had a great stay at Mapache. The private room was spacious and clean. The staff were lovely and helpful. We also loved the daily activities and the small breakfast included was a bonus. Would recommend Mapache to anyone staying on Holbox. I've only just found out the Mapache means racoon though! "

"Dear Holbox Dreams Team, I am writing to share my wonderful experience during my recent stay at Holbox Dreams. This was my second visit, and I celebrated my birthday there. From start to finish, it was exceptional. Your beach is everything it is described to be and more — beautiful, clean, with stunning white sand and breathtaking ocean views. I loved the complimentary towels and comfortable loungers, the excellent beach service, and being able to relax in the palm tree hammocks and dine beachside under the white umbrellas. The clear turquoise water was perfect for snorkeling and windsurfing, with excellent access. The hotel restaurant was also excellent, with a great variety of options. The breakfast was delicious, and having it right on the beachfront made it so convenient to enjoy great food and drinks throughout the day. The air conditioning in the room worked perfectly as well. I especially want to give a special mention to Tanya, the Property Manager. She was 100% — she truly made my visit. She is a very special person. I noticed every day that she was attentive to every guest on-site, making sure they had everything they needed. If anyone had a concern, she was ready to step in immediately and provide excellent service. Her attention to excellence and customer service is like none I have ever seen before. Holbox Dreams is centrally located, just a short walk from the main area, has every amenity needed, and is right on the beach. I highly recommend it to anyone"
