"All good with room but huge delays with food - told 35 mins ended up being around 75 minutes so quite disappointing and was 10.30pm by time we finished eating, after sitting down at table around 8.45pm. Admittedly it was Christmas and they had a few parties for Xmas but nontheless still disappointing. Food was good but delays and lack of comms disappointing "

"A beautiful hotel with historic features. We stayed in the house which is quiet and we had a view of the fields. The swimming is very clean and the jacuzzi was relaxing we had the whole pool to ourselves, it has a small sauna and steam room which needs to be warmer. The Reception had a beautiful Christmas tree and the bar area is relaxing with a lovely sitting room. The staff work hard and make you feel welcome. The room was spacious with sash windows, no snacks provided like the other group hotels we have visited. The floor boards in the room need fixing but it’s an old building. We visited Millets farm to see the Christmas lights, would recommend. Abingdon is a nice town with a mix of independent shops and top high street brands. This is our second visit and we would return. Who doesn’t love the Cotswolds ❤️"

"Wonderful stay at the Shillingford Bridge Hotel. Fantastic view of the river, made even better by the early morning frost. We had a little confusion over the breakfast time but the lovely ladies working there made sure our stay wasn't blighted and accommodated us. Thank you very much. We wouldn't hesitate in returning. "On check in we were gifted an upgrade and given the option of two rooms which was quite unexpected. The staff were happy and chatty with us. We had a meal in the Thai restaurant which was really delicious. Nothing really to fault"
