Nice property, water view. Be aware that there was no air conditioning in the motel units where we were. But that should rarely be an issue.

The location and views were fantastic. The building exudes old world charm even though it is less than 50 years since it was built. There is a lot of attention to detail in the building and the services provided.

Check in was quick and easy and the grounds face the St. Lawrence with spectacular views. The rooms were very nicely decorated and the beds comfortable. I travelled with a handicapped person who had a difficult time getting around. The "motel" side of the Hotel was not as quiet, you could hear your neighbors. Overall it was a great experience.

Beautiful view

Very beautiful location! I had a room with a view on the water which was so nice. The service was very nice, the room was very clean and had all the amenities I needed. I had a good sleep and woke up to a beautiful view of the river. The room smelled strongly of mildew/mold. Definitely a humid room, which makes sense since it's on the first floor (motel area) and close to the water I guess, but still unpleasant. I would perhaps suggest booking a room in the hotel or on a higher floor to avoid this issue. I would still recommend to stay at this hotel! I enjoyed my stay.

Too expensive for the instalation quality. When we got there we did not stay at the hotel but at the cheap rooms beside the hotel that look like a motel. Not worth the money spend. Overprice for that kind of room. I was expecting to stay at a nive hotel with a nice view as advertised and not a cheap motel

I have to say that we were misled into thinking that this hotel was near La Pocatière, QC. It is not!! It is across the river and, unless you have your own boat, you are going to have to drive back to Quebec City to get there from La Pocatière! I have rechecked hotels.com to see if I missed that bit of information. No, I didn't. The hotel is on an island. We arrived to get the car ferry at 10 pm but had to wait until 11:30 pm for the ferry. Loooong day! On another note, the woman who greeted us near midnight was kind and accommodating. Our room was lovely and comfortable. We had a lovely breakfast in the dining room the next morning. Beautiful view of the St. Lawrence.

1. Très mal reçu, ont nous as donné la chambre la moins attrayante de l’auberge dans le pignon #216. Nous avons refusé de nous y installer. Je me suis sentie comme au Mexique, moyennant un supplément nous pouvons avoir une meilleure chambre. Il avait énormément de chambres de libres. Ont c’est fait donné la chambre #341. Elle sentait le renfermée. Pour finalement vraiment sentir l’humidité cela était vraiment incommodant. Les tiroirs de la commode m’ont glissé sur les pieds. C’est mal entretenu, vraiment pas le grand luxe. Avant notre départ pour notre séjour nous avons reçu un appel pour nous dire que la restauration serait fermée pour tout le long de notre séjour. A la réception nous avons été informé que la restauration serait fermée pour le 1 septembre seulement. Finalement la restauration étais disponible tout au long de notre séjour sauf pour le souper du premier septembre. Nous avons déjeuné au restaurant pour 53.08$ pour deux personnes c’était bon et les deux femmes qui y travaillaient étaient très gentilles. Je ne recommande pas. C’était ma première expérience avec Expedia et ce sera ma dernière. A l’avenir je vais faire comme d’habitude et téléphoner directement à l’établissement. Peut-être nous ne serons pas reçu comme des mieux que rien.
