"Such a beautiful property! I’ve stayed here a couple times now and it’s my favourite spot. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the staff are kind and welcoming, and it has one hell of a view!! Breakfast is delicious, and the lounge is incredible. "

"In its heyday it was probably a lovely hotel but its tired. We were in a ground floor room (which is actually partially subterrainan) musty smell, mold on wall, peeling paint. This is not to say rhey haven't made upgrades. Bathroom fixtures are new, beds are new and comfortable, lighting is good, breakfast was abundant and staff was very kind."

"Great property to stop over on route to Skype or Inverness or return to Glasgow / Edinburgh - dining was excellent and the brewery own blend of gin different. The POD options add variety although we don’t stay in one. Superb views of the hills and Loch. "

"Dont be put off by the 1970s front of this hotel it is fantastic, location is everything for this hotel. on arrival we were checked in without any issues,found our room although on the small side it was was we booked, superking bed was clean the room in general was spotless (28) and we had a seaview. Bathroom was clean, all in all a great hotel. Only problem we had was our window wouldn't open and parking was a bit of an issue."

"The chef and the floor staff in the hotel restaurant should be complimented on their food, appearance and attention to detail. Just amazing keep up the fabulous work. The bar and lobby entrance sharp and sophisticated , I must say a special mention to the front bar with view over the bay. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed and decorated. For those with fur friends - there is a doggy wall of fame "
