"Lovely stay and enjoyed the spa facilities. We ate in the bar area as we had our dog and the staff were very welcoming. The Mull scallops were delicious as was the whisky and marmalade ice cream.
Great dog walking area with interesting wood carvings on the route.
Would definitely stay again if in the area. "
"The room was immaculate, felt recently renovated and quite current. It was to the rear of the hotel and very quiet even though the hotel sits on the main road through Oban.
Bed, firm but comfortable, no problems there.
The Nespresso coffee machine is a very nice addition too.
The shower is a waterfall type and absolutely perfect.
Can't comment on the bar or breakfast as we didn't use either."
"Room was clean, bathroom very small making difficult for my wife who has mobility issue. Stairs had threadbare carpet and ground floor reception area very basic and not particularly inviting.
Dining staff member was helpful and did his best for us.
It was a bed for night."
"The location is okay, however the hotel is old and in very bad condition. The room they gave me at first had a huge window in the bathroom and no shades, also the curtain shower did not close properly and there was a ball of hair in the corner of the bathroom floor: nasty, horrible, disgusting, unacceptable. I complained and they gave me another room which was better but still bad. Breakfast was poor. I do not recommend this hotel. "
"Cozy rooms, atmospheric decor, friendly staff, and a convenient location just around the corner from Oban Distillery. The on-site beer (and whisky) garden is a great amenity, and bar staff are very knowledgeable about what they’re pouring. "
