It was an okay hotel, not great, not terrible. There is free breakfast but the quality isn't great, but can't complain since it's free. The safe in our room was shut and no one knew the code to open it so we couldn't use it. Also our room key card was able to open someone else's room (we went to the wrong room on accident) and we walked in on some guy sleeping, it was weird. Then the next morning our key card stopped working and couldn't even open our own room. Really strange. We only stayed 2 nights and the cleaning personnel did not come, however the room was very clean to begin with. Overall not a bad hotel but could be better.

Basically, when we booking some place to stay abroad, we expect to be safe and have support when something happens. But, definitely it not what I found at this hotel so far. Considering, I haven't even gotten there yet. They just turn their backs to you. Sorry,!

Worst night i had in Istanbul.
Bad bed, couldnt sleep untill morning and then left. No cashback. Soaps was used. No alivator. No windows. Problems with AC etc...

Lovely , cozy and pleasant
Lovely place, clean rooms and helpful staff. Not fit for disabled or wheelchair bound guests as there are no lifts. The hotel is bang smack in the middle of Kadaköy, but you couldn't hear any noise from our room on the top floor. A delicious plate of börek,egg, cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, bread, honey and jam was served for breakfast every day.

Great location for local experience
Fantastic location in the heart of the laneeays of Kadikoy. A close walk to the ferries. Above a bar and restaurant which at first we thought might be noisy, but wasnt at all. Service was really friendly, bed comfortable, room warm (we were there in winter) and clean. We were really happy with our stay and would return.

Rebooked this hotel as i stayed last year and the location, staff, comfort and condition of hotel were good. This year however it seems that some of these things have been neglected. In just a year the stairway carpet and decor, and even in the rooms is very shabby. Signs the hotel is well used but not as well maintained as it should be. I had to ask to be given a different room because of the condition of the first room, which was such a disappointment compared to my delight last year. I was taken to where I stayed last year which was better but even that was in a poorer condition. Bed was still as comfortable as ever though. I would love to stay again but would only do so if i heard they had done something to improve the condition of the hotel. Staff great! Location great. But if the lack of maintenance is due to owner not paying for enough staff to run the place he is his own worst enemy. I would have recommended this place before but not now unless he opened his wallet and fixed the place up a bit and employed a couple more housekeepers. That's all it needs. Nothing major at all.

Close to shops clubs bars, a bit difficult to find because of the restaurant front, a lively location and the restaurant with garden has a lot to offer food shisha etc.

nice little hotel hidden away in a great spot
the hotel is in a really handy location if you’re looking to be in the heart of a fun and busy area, away from the tourists and full of life. The hotel is cute, clean and nice rooms with everything you need. The staff were lovely and welcoming, looking forward to going back

I would book again
Very pleasant short stay at Kuzen hotel. Check in was quick and easy and baggage was kindly carried to my room.. bonus points for that!! Hotel is a fairly short distance from the bus station and ferry port where there are regular boats to cross over to European side of Istanbul. Room was very clean and I would have brought the bed home with me if I could have. Plenty of hot water and nice toiletries. I had to leave early before breakfast time but staff kindly prepared something for me to eat. A suggestion for improvement is perhaps hotel signage could be a bit more visible from the outside as not easy to notice on a street full of all kinds of activity and hustle and bustle. I walked past it several times and thought it was a restaurant. Overall a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Just wish I'd had longer!!

Recommend. A hotel with cozy atmosphere
Good: Very kind English speaking staffs, nicely furnished clean room with well-functioning AC and Wi-fi connection, small but good enough single bed, poshly designed shower room with a functioning shower head, quality of breakfast, reasonable price. Note: - Room cleaning is done only once, before using the room (the hotel left enough number of bath towel, thus, didn't face any trouble.) - Breakfast time is limited, between 9 and 11.00. Hotel staff serves the dishes for each guest (i.e. not the buffet style) thus, it takes time for them to prepare the breakfast.

-Görsellerde anlatıldığı gibi bakımlı bir otel değil. -Banyosu köhneydi ve sıcak su gelmiyordu. -Penceresiz odanın havalandırması yeterli değildi. -Çevrede otopark yeri bulmak kolay değil. -Otelin alt kısmı restaurant olması sebebiyle gürültü yoğunluğu mevcuttu. -Otel daha önce bir rezervasyonumu otele giriş günü arayarak iptal etmiş ve yerine bir opsiyon sunmayarak oldukça güç bir durum yaratmıştı. +Konumu merkeziydi +Kahvaltısı anlatıldığı gibiydi.
