"Old school hotel, large comfortable room, with usual amenities. Staff very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast had everything, and was very good. Location was perfect, very walkable. 3 min from ferry dock, 7 min to train station, 10 min to main town square. Highly recommended "

"Location location location. This one ticks the boxes. Just inside the bridge onto the island it is right next to the shops, bars and restaurants and next to the ferry pier. Everything is a very short walk. We had a room with a small balcony overlooking the water and ferry pier. Well appointed and comfortable. The hotel is old and classic historic in some ways and a little tired in others. The only negative was the AC in the room did not cope with an early June heat. We set it to 19 but the room never got below 23 making it difficult to sleep at night. You can’t have the windows open as there are loads of flying insects hanging around. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone. "

"We stayed in the old part behind the main building room small but lovely bathroom and adequate. Sky bar was lovely but overpriced drinks put us off. Lovely pool area and great location"
