Great location. Away from the noise but close enough to walk to Donaburi area

This hotel was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Very convenient location right by the main Kyoto streets of shopping and food. Close to subway and bus stations. The property looked brand new to me. Everywhere was so clean and the staff were very friendly, efficient, and professional. The Onsen was such a unique element of the hotel. The rooftop terrace was open from sunrise to midnight to all hotel guests and it had a breathtaking view of Kyoto. There was mineral hot water bath on the rooftop and you could dip your toes in as you were sitting and enjoying the view. It was fabulous. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto. Only note for travellers if you care about the view of the hotel room's window. Our room was on the third floor and from the window we could only see the roofs of the other houses and if you looked down their backyards. We had the curtain down all the time and enjoyed the view of the city from the terrace.

This is a minimalist hotel but very convenient and walkable location so we had easy access to anything we needed.

Great elegant and super comfortable hotel! It has a public bath but if you have tattoes you cant use. Rate 4
