Hotel Gyokusen
10/10 Excellent
"What a wonderful stay, this location is off the beaten path for foreigners but it is such a hidden gem. It had an onsen, free drinks within a time limit, restaurant on premise, a show by performers every night, a beautiful garden and yukatas to borrow. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. Also while they do offer a shuttle, and bikes to rent, please make sure to inform them so they can be ready to take you/accomodare you. Please also make sure that if you book, you order with breakfast and dinner, because the nearest konbini is pretty far, and many local restaurants open later or close earlier. Will come back again if given the chance."
"Really beautiful hotel. I liked the private Onsen options, so convenient. Very close to the main shrine for a visit and lots of shops. Japanese breakfast was delicious. "
