"Hampton Inn Danville staff made our stay easy and pleasant. The front desk staff were responsive and the woman in charge of breakfast kept things stocked and was also responsive. It was close to Knoebels (15 min drive) and parking was free. The room was fine (had all the things a room needs) but felt dark and outdated. The beds and pillows were comfortable enough and the TV functioned fine. AC was strong and cold. The pool looked nice but we were too tired to jump in by the end of the day. It was good for the price.
The ice machine outside our room leaked into the carpet and soaked it in the hallway. The hotel is located down a side road past a gas station and pay to park trucker lot (out of sight/ off the beaten path). The outside landscaping, sign, and facade was rundown. This is not a new hotel but did what it was supposed to do for the price. Aside from the infrastructure the personnel and experience were good."
"Great overnight stay! Room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and we appreciated the amenities (especially the pool and free breakfast)."
"Smelled nice. Very very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. AC worked well. Fridge worked well. Didn't use TV. Bed quite comfy. Older facility but not a problem for us. Cleanliness and maintenance is what's important to us. Had free coffee and tea. Our pups stayed and were welcomed. Will stay again."
"The hotel was clean. Room was nice. There were conversations going on outside my room quite late. There was a water main break, so we were without water for quite a long time. In the morning on Saturday, there were no towels in the pool area. Electronic key didn’t work and then my key was shut off after one night but I was staying for two so I had to go back to the front desk another time. Breakfast was good."
"Was a bit surprised when I had to pay additional $120 pet fee, Expedia list it as pet friendly and I picked a room that was pet friendly, didnt see where they said there were fees for pet friendly"
"Staff was amazing and above any place I’ve stayed before.
The quality of the towels ( very thin and small) and quality of the toilet paper ( thin) could be better and reflect the hotel better."
