Spent three nights at Jetwing Jaffna on a trip to the peninsula. I grew up in Sri Lanka, but, never had been to Jaffna and I wanted to visit. Jet wing is a great base around which to plan a trip to Jaffna. It is new, rooms are fantastic, staff is very friendly and helpful. Restaurant and the food is exceptional. If you go there, try to get the Jaffna Seafood buffet. Unbelievable! Very convenient to drive or take a rental car to rest of Jaffna. Also walkable to the main city attractions including the bustling market. If I go back to Jaffna, I’ll definitely stay at jetwing again.

This property is up as a 4 star hotel but when we got there we were told there is no gym or a pool which means it is technically a 2 star hotel. It also has very limited space in the rooms and the bathrooms are tiny, the only good thing about the hotel is the delicious food.

I expected something better at this property. Room feels old and cramped. Need to manoeuvre to get into small bathroom. In my opinion, in need of renovation. I would not stay here again. Also, disappointed that hotel did not respond to two queries sent via Expedia messaging. One was to request change in bed type. To be fair, it was changed at checkin after I raised two single beds was not suitable, as per my message.

Could’ve taken the initiative to clean the room properly. Outside balcony had dead insects and was dirty. The behind the hotel there was waste water and would smell at times. The wifi connection was terrible it was non existent . I booked with jetwing for reliable wifi and cleanliness but didn’t have both.
