"My sister and I stayed here for our trip to Charleston and this hotel did not disappoint. You get exactly what you’re looking for, a historic hotel within walking distance, a beautiful lobby and interior with updated rooms but still having that old charm to it. The room was spacious with 2 large closets and a full length mirror (very much appreciated by my sister and I) The bathroom was smaller but to be expected with older hotels, the only downfall was the plumbing. The water pressure wasn’t the greatest so made for longer showers and the toilets didn’t flush well. But the hotel is in a perfect area. We flew in and didn't have personal transportation and were able to walk all over for great shopping, restaurants and sites. If we decide to return for another trip to Charleston we would definitely stay here again. We didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant in the hotel but it’s very convenient to have as well as a coffee shop. "

"Beautiful stay with great views of the Charleston harbor. Especially liked the fire pit by the water in the evening. It was great to gather, share stories, and relax. "

"As with all Drury Inns, this was super efficient and comfortable. Very close to airport and highway, perfect for going to Columbia one day and spending the other two in Charleston. The breakfast and dinner (a complimentary feature of Drury Inns) were really solid though obviously we went into town for the real meals but given how expensive the latter were these were a nice way to balance things out. The service was uniformly excellent, from the front desk to the pool staff to the meal staff. The pool and hot tub (very large) were especially good highlights. Excellent value overall"
