Parking is terrible. But it was expected considering the time frame of the trip. The room had baseboards ripped away from the wall and the interior was dated. But at the end of the day met the needs of a place to sleep.

Would not recommend this hotel, no microwave in the room, bathroom dirty floor and toilet bowl loose, only a bottom sheet on the bed and then a duvet, so too hot then too cold, room on second floor no elevator…
The air conditioning unit was very loud and was not very efficient. Extremely Hot and humid .

Nice location can walk into town in 15-20 mins or get a bus directly outside property. Reception staff lovely, bed comfy.

While clearly a product of the 1980s the property is very well maintained and has all the facilities a reasonable guest could expect. Everything I used worked and was in tip-top condition. The walls are a little thin, so you can sometimes hear the TV from the neighbouring room, but apart from that a perfect stay.

Very worn out and aged. You can see it was clean for sure and comfortable beds. Furniture extremely old. I had to ask for a sheet to cover the couch cause it was gross. No way would I sit on it.

Mostly friendly staff. Room #156 was way too warm to sleep. Tried AC but was told the next day that it hasnt been turned on because its winter?? May 12th and its 20c (70f) outside. Its not winter. All power to our room shut down when my wife was using the hair dryer. When we booked the room the hotel wanted to know the name of our Golden Retriever so they could prepare a personalized welcome package for her. We did not receive anything upon arrival. When i asked the employee about it he responded "Do you still want it?"
We've stayed at better places in Jasper so unlikely we will return to the Tonquin when we come back in July.

We were first placed in a smoking area and when requested a change they immediately placed us in another building with an upgrade. Staff was very accommodating.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was on the smaller side but perfect for what we needed. The room looked very clean, until apon further inspection i saw that a drink had been spilled on the front of the dresser. Also a 5inch spill on wall. I fixed them. Lol. Otherwise it was very nice. We had a king suite for our stay. It has a real fire place in it. It was nice to be able to spend some time relaxing in front of the fire.
The room was clean. The bed was fairly comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tubs.
The staff were all great. Helped us with any of our needs or questions.
We enjoy staying at the Tonquin inn.

The room itself was absolutely fine. Only complaint is that room was excruciatingly hot. They have portable air conditioners in the room. But not efficient in cooling room. For the second night maintenance came in and cleaned the filter and it did work much better. But air conditioner is loud. Staff at the hotel were great. Also the vending machines do not work well at all. Several people in line ups at two different machines. And everyone struggled with getting them to work and people including me ended up with wrong products
