Hotels near Jean Lafitte National Historic Park and Preserve

"As soon as we parked and got out our vehicle we was greeted with the stench of sewage. Once we got checked in and made it to our floor the hallways had a moldy smell. For a complex that has been newly built it was in rough shape. The carpet was dirty, the light fixtures was broken, the hot water on the sink was turned off for some reason and parts of the carpet by the tv was ripped. The sofa/ couch appeared to be broken. I wouldnt recommend this particular hotel to anyone. "

"Once arrived at hotel front desk stated that there was no rooms available at this moment. Mind you I booked this room in advance. Finally once a room was available there was not a one towel in the bathroom. Comforter on bed was stained. Locks on door were halfway broken. "

"The breakfast was very basic served with plastic plates and utensils. The coffee was excellent but served in paper or styrofoam cups. Kind of Motel 6 feel to it. The hotel has a functional kind of sterile feel, especially in a vibrant city like NOLA!"

"It's convenient to stay a night or two easy access to freeway to get to the city and other places"

"Do not accept room 826, it is by the elevators, and the noise is too much. They moved our room and it was better."

"Disgusting had bugs, no lock on the door, huge gap around the door to clearly see outside, ceiling was coming down, and smelled strongly of urine in the hallway. Hotel staff were very rude and not helpful. Completely disgusting. Also there was another resident tearing apart a mower all night in the parking lot."
