I especially appreciated that it’s a small hotel with only a few rooms, located in a quiet residential neighborhood. The area felt safe, walkable, and very pleasant. "Awesome historical hotel centrally located just steps away from Union Square and Powell St. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Tne rooms comfortable and spacious. The only disadvantage is that the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or coffee shop. There is a little smell throughout the property. But in general we enjoyed our stay "
