"Didn't get a chance for breakfast or pool. Room was clean upon entry but you have to sign up for room service. Would have liked room service to be automatic."
"The stay at Drury Plaza Hotel was excellent. Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant, knowledgeable, and courteous. The complimentary breakfast exceeded my expectations as it was buffet style service and pancakes cooked on the skillet. The location is minutes from Short Pump shopping and dining district which will give you vast choices to shop and discover eateries."

"What I did NOT like.
During check-in, I happened to overhear the receptionist explaining government rates and ID requirements to the guest ahead of me. As a government civilian employee, I asked—mostly out of curiosity—whether any such rates or considerations might apply in my case, while also noting that I had booked through Expedia and understood if they did not.
The response I received left me somewhat uncomfortable. I was told there has been abuse of government ID usage and that stricter enforcement may be coming. While I understand and respect the need for policies and preventing misuse, the tone of the interaction made me feel as though my inquiry was being viewed with suspicion rather than as a simple question. This was a personal trip, and I was not attempting to improperly seek benefits—only asking for clarification.
To be fair, the receptionist remained generally polite throughout the interaction, and I completed check-in without issue. However, the exchange left me disappointed, as the manner in which it was communicated felt unnecessarily dismissive."
"Our room was gross. There were hand prints on the door. Dirty towels folded like they were clean. Marks all over the walls. Peeling wallpaper. The AC was out in the lobby/breakfast area. The fitness room was dated, dirty, no towels and broken equipment. We were only given 2 towels for 3 people the entire stay. When I asked for additional towels, I was given an attitude. When I explained the room situation I did not get an apology. Nice location."
"We wound up not staying here and I would advise against booking this hotel. The reception staff was not helpful and actually nasty. After checking in, we discovered one room door already opened and another kicked in. The staff told us they were undergoing renovations, however it appeared someone broke into a room to get access to the adjoining room. The staff was uncooperative in helping find us another hotel. We felt unsafe. Hotels.com did help me recover the fees after some back and forth. If this location is available to book, that is a shame."
