"To be asked to pay $8 for a bowl and spoon to be delivered to my room so I can have breakfast - when paying close to $300 a night is ridiculous. To be woken at 8am when maintenance is drilling next to my room also not good enough."

"My pretty large apartment was well equipped with all the cookware and cutlery I needed for an odd night. There’s a dishwasher, washing machine etc. for longer stays…. I didn’t get to the gym largely because it’s so close to South Bank I decided on an early run by the river. Great staff. Good coffee shop at the entrance. Place to leave bags for the day. Excellent "

Bed was comfortable.
The hotel is due and booked into completing a refurbishment that will help with the “tired” aspects - but it was amazing value!

"This property is in an amazing area of town. So handy to everything. There was a park across the road. Super market around the corner and easy walk down the road to train station, ferry and bus.
The property itself was a little run down and could do with a little spruce up but was totally liveable. The room was serviced daily for towels and rubbish clearing but was up to you to make your bed and do the dishes which is acceptable. We stayed more than a week and they even changed the sheets half way through. We had no human contact but we also knew this when we booked, the key was super easy to get and leave and finding the apartment was also easy. I would recommend this as a cheaper great alternative for long stay."
