"Lovely clean hotel, simple check in and out. Great little pool with bar. Nice bar by reception and great breakfast. (Didn't have dinner). Happy to store luggage on last day and were kind enough to extend my check out time as I had a late flight. Loved the location. It IS up a very steep hill but personally, I loved walking off my dinner each night I went out and it's a lovely stroll down (it's an oasis of birdsong and trickling water!) Right opposite Alhambra and very convenient C32 bus that is pretty much all you need for a city stay. Few little shops nearby. Rooms are functional, although there are no drawers at all in the bedroom and small wardrobe. It's a well priced hotel and I highly recommend (been back twice so far, recommended to others who visited and enjoyed their stay and I will return again too.)"

"We chose the Granada Palace Hotel as it was in Monachil where we wanted to stay to visit family. On searching for a hotel this was the best one we found and was at a reasonable price. The hotel did not disappoint at all and was in a great location to visit family in Monachil and visit the sights of Granada. After being directed to our room we were amazed at how big it was, in all the trips we have been on (Carribbean/Thailand etc) this was one of the best rooms that we have stayed in, it was huge! We loved how big the bathroom was and all the space we had in the room to store our clothes and the little terrace where we could sit outside and take in the view of Monachil and the mountains. We were also given free bottles of water which was a lovely touch. We paid for breakfast and this was also lovely, a great choice of hot and cold food. On our last day we were leaving for the airport at 7am and we had a picnic made up for us to take. We also enjoyed a meal at the Italian restaurant next door and with it being our Anniversary they did their best to make it special for us with several free drinks. We sat by the pool area everyday, although the pool was a little too cold for me my husband braved it! It was nice to just sit on the sun loungers though. We also spent a couple of nights on the rooftop terrace, what an amazing view of Monachil! It really was a 5 star hotel and we loved every minute of our break, we will definately return!"

"The hotel is a bit dated and could do with a renovation/ modernisation. Otherwise its clean and spacious. The beds were inconsistent in comfort. We were in the quadruple bed room and half the bed were so old it squeaked when you roll over in your sleep, and the mattress was so uncomfortable that I didn't get to sleep much all night."

"Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. Lady on reception who checked me in and out was really nice, as was the guy who helped me in the Ski Room. The hotel is really nice, especially the spa. The lady who helped me in the spa was also super accommodating as I didn’t realize I had to pre-book a slot. I stayed in room 3111, I paid for an upgrade and ‘The Level’ package. My room was pretty nice, there were a few small things that would have made my stay better. There was a lightbulb flickering in the lounge. The room had twin beds, but one of the beds was lower and also shorter and length than the other. Which wouldn’t be ideal if you were traveling as a couple. The TV in the bedroom should be put on a bracket so you can angle it towards the bed. Also the suite had a kitchenette, but there was no cutlery in the cupboards. With these small fixes my stay would have been perfect. The breakfast was great too, as were all the staff I encountered in the breakfast room. Will stay again for sure! "
