"Absolutely shocking. Arrived at 7.20pm. Check in was between 5-8pm. No sign of anyone. Phoned both phone numbers and messaged via hotel.com - no answer from property. Waited there for an hour. We were extremely tired after leaving the UK at 7am!!! Had to find another hotel at ann extra cost. Eventually arrived around 9pm. Hotel owner phoned me at 10.38pm, waking us up, to ask where we were and apologise! What a joke. A formal complaint has been made to hotel.con who were extremely helpful...

"Het enthousiasme van de gastvrouw blaast je lekker van de sokken, wat een ingesteldheid. Een voorbeeld voor elk verstrekker van logies. De kamer zelf is heel ruim en het eenvoudig ontbijt is lekker. In de nabijheid van de zaak zijn er een aantal goede restaurantjes (prijs kwaliteit hoogstaand) om je innerlijke te versterken."

"staying at Maison D’eclaibes was the most memorable stay of our two week trip to Europe. My favorite quiet environment in the countryside. The host listened to my limited English conversation. And for my wife love of boiled beans. And the next morning it came out for breakfast. Please continue staying at this inn forever. If possible, i would like to visit again someday. "This is a small French farmhouse hotel. The owners are extremely nice and accommodating. The rooms are well appointed, clean, and spacious. They made us a nice continental breakfast each morning. I would definitely recommend and visit again."
