"This place is great- friendly owners and very helpful staff- even the maid went above and beyond when I was stricken with sickness- highly rated- non touristy medellin neighborhood but totally safe and surrounded with good food and next to a hospital (which is always a comfort) - free breakfast at a great place too- Near the metro and a bunch of markets- ok with foreigners and solo travelers for long terms too- 5star! "Everything was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel is a standard, basic South American hotel. Good value. The neighborhood is interesting and safe during the day. It's located near the metro. It's not safe at night. I had a great time but understand that the neighborhood looks scary because of homeless people and troubled people but it's actually safe during the day. I had no issues but I stayed in at night. Also, there is lots of cheap food choices nearby. Good street food. There is a huge food market near the metro also. Fresh fruits, vegetables, cheese, etc. And the hotel is walking distance from Parque Bolivar and Parque Berrio. Both are safe and heavily policed. "
"Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Great value for money.
Only critique would be my room didn’t have air conditioning, but the fan was powerful enough to keep me cool at night, so they can keep the full 5 stars from me."
"creo deben mejorar muchas cosas, las cuerdas donde los huespedes tienden la ropa , la lavadora sucia, una silla en las habitaciones y jarra con vaso en la habitacion, mejorar panos y sabanas, las chicas de la cocina y la recepcion muy amables, los jabones de los baños mejorarlos, la tv nunca lo prendian, el servicio de cable obsoleto."
"I was robbed by a group of men while unknowingly traveling in the bad area of medellin. The owner and his staff helped my contact my family and associates as well as make safe travel accomedations back home. The service here is life saving quality. 11/10"
