Good location but squeeky beds and not-good pillows. Otherwise Ok.

Fast, smooth and reliable.
First of all, Omena hotels is the hotel chain without common check-in. You receive sms with PIN to enter the building and room. But dont be sceptic. All rooms equipped with kettle , microwave, and fridge. Private shower is also in place. So, for good price you will get some main essentials. Perfect for city overnight.

Basic hotel
Very cheap and basic hotel with no reception. Code is sent to your phone for access. Room and hotel were no frills and ideal for my trip.

Good location, late check in, be aware parking
I like these automated check in hotels particularly in countries where 24 hour front desk is not available. Allows me to drive and reach the place really late. No place for parking on premises. Parking is available in nearby, free from 8pm to 8am. Wifi is good, no neighbour noise. In the centre of town between the pedestrian district and the train station if you are taking the VR.

Very useful, clean and quiet
I'm not really a fan of automated hotels, but this one was well done. Everything worked as hoped, the room was clean and well organized, and had everything I needed.

Very central, basic
The hotel was perfectly adequate and was clean and comfortable. The lack of any reception as okay most of the time, but proved difficult when we were trying to meet up with others as somebody had to stand out on the street waiting. It is very central and as such provides good access to local shops and restaurants. The addition of a microwave and fridge in the room was useful, too.

the check in process is all cyber. Just read the email before you arrive - you'll need to. The place is very nice, btw.

Easy distance from train station
I chose the hotel for its convenient location just a few minutes' walk from the train station as I had an early morning train to catch. The entrance is not immediately obvious. It is a side gate rather than a building entrance on the street. However, the entry code system worked fine on the gate, building entrance and room entrance. The room was nothing fancy but it suited my needs for one night.

Basic, cheap place in great location
The room was clean and had everything I needed. Everything is relatively basic, but that's what I expected for the price. Check-in works very easily and smoothly with the PIN code system. Location of the hotel is excellent

not good value for the price
This room could not be considered a 'family room'. It was barely large enough for 2 people. The fold down futons were fine for sleeping on, however, and the bedding was comfortable. We had to ask for the extra towels. Cleaning staff were helpful.

You get what you pay for!!
Online checking with a help phone, no one to assist. Was very confusing as our email with check in details didn't arrive until later and we had to ring for assistance. Room was big with coffee making equipment but cups were plastic and disposable. Felt more like a hostel than a hotel. No parking facilities and we got a €60 fine for parking in the wrong place despite being told we could park there on the help phone! Wish we had paid more and had parking and breakfast included now!

Hi and thank you for the feedback. My apologies that you experienced som difficulties during your stay. If you have not received the room information, it is always good to check eg. your spam mail just in case. Regarding the parking, we don't have any parking spaces of our own, but we are also not able to comment on where it is okay to park since we don't have the exact information for every street in every city where there are Omena Hotels. The only advice we can give is about possible nearest parking garage or to check the nearby streets. All street rules have to of course be followed and this is the car owners responsibility. I truly hope that you were still able to enjoy your stay (:

Value for money, overall a good experience!
Good pleasant hotel. Will not hesitate to recommend to others. The only issue I had was that the telephone number given in case of any help was not answered when I needed some help regarding the bathroom shower. Everything else worked exactly as promised on the website. Overall value for money.

On a business trip so out all day. When i had to use the contact phone i found the satff very knowledgable and helpful. Only slight issues were the lack of cooking facilities, i expected a bit more , and parking which was very expensive next door at the shopping centre.

Great location, great hotel!
Hotel was very central, has free parking nearby from 8pm - 8am. Hotel is simple but clean, for the low rate compared to other hotels in the city, I have no complaints!

No reception which we were not aware. Minimalist
It felt spooky to be a at " hotel" without a reception. Some "iffy" characters. Long dreary hall . Basic as heck, no amenities. Shower turns off after 30 secs and has to be restarted. Other " residents" having difficulty reaching the off-campus" reception telephone life" I would most definitely not stay at that chain again.

A no-frills hotel for everyone
You get exactly what it says on the tin - a no-frills hotel room, large, tidy, nice shower, and a few amenities in the neighbourhood. Code and room number were delivered by text and email, and for Finnish prices levels quite affordable.

Sänky oli kyllä sellainen, jossa piti kokoajan käännellä ettei olisi aamulla kipeä jokapaikasta. Kahvinkeitin olisi ollut hyvä lisä huoneessa 👍 Huono ilma, jos ei ollut kokoajan ilmastointi täysillä. Muuten oiva, kun koodilla mentiin ja tultiin ja parkkihalli vieressä 👍
