Chozin, who manages the resort was particularly helpful and I could always count on her to help me in many capacities. Her English skills are very good and she was able to help tremendously. Great food and the staff could not be more friendly or helpful. A little quiet while we were there but probably due to low season approaching and getting themselves set up."

"We visited low season but for us it was perfect. We stayed 5 nights, mid. June. The staff were wonderfully friendly and polite. Whilst part of the hotel was closed, junior suite, for renovation it did not affect us in any way. The weather was just right to, Not too hot or wet. Rain came late afternoon in the form of a sprinkle twice and overnight once but nothing much. We were lucky I'm sure but I think it's the right time of year to go, any other must get unbelievable hot. Mandalay was 40 ish...

"This resort was a HUGE highlight of my trip to Myanmar. The staff was so friendly and helped in every way that they could. The breakfast was delicious, rooms extremely spacious and perfectly kept grounds. The drinking water was a huge bonus. It is a difficult time right now for they people and they could not have been more thankful that I was there. The tour around the lake was such a unique experience.
