Extremely disappointing experience — I would not recommend this hotel. We arrived at around 8:30pm to find the reception closed and nobody available to check us in. Eventually, a lady showed us a paper stuck to the window with our name, room number and instructions saying the room door was open and the key was inside. We had to find the room ourselves, which made us feel extremely unsafe and uncomfortable. The room had a very strong chemical/cleaning smell, so we had to stay outside with the doors open for a while. The bathroom smelled unpleasant, seemingly from the shower drain, and was painted an intense blood-red colour, which one of us found very unsettling. The minibar was empty, and only one bottle of warm water was provided. The Wi-Fi did not work until the second day. The worst part was finding tiny bugs in the bed, which made it impossible to sleep properly. We reported this to reception, but the response was poor. The receptionist was on her phone and barely engaged with us, and despite being told the room would be cleaned, the bugs remained. We also heard a loud bang outside our gate and tried the emergency number provided. It rang once but was then switched off. We paid for a suite with a private pool, but the pool was poorly maintained and dirty. Breakfast had very limited and repetitive choices. Overall, we felt poorly treated, unsupported and unsafe. I absolutely would not recommend this place in Santorini. 😪

An absolutely wonderful stay made truly unforgettable by the incredible staff. The hotel itself is beautiful, peaceful and luxurious, but it was the warmth and genuine care of the team that made my trip so special. A particular thank you to Dina (Konstantina), who was exceptional from start to finish. She was so warm, thoughtful and accommodating and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure I had the best possible trip. Her kindness made the experience feel incredibly personal. I have several food allergies, which can make travelling stressful, but the way the team looked after me was amazing. The pool staff took such care to make sure I could safely enjoy food and drinks, while the kitchen went as far as inventing and adapting meals especially for me. I never once felt like my allergies were an inconvenience — everyone simply wanted to make sure I could enjoy my holiday fully, which meant so much. There are many beautiful hotels, but it’s the people who make somewhere truly memorable. Thank you to Dina, the pool and kitchen teams, and every member of staff who made me feel so welcome and cared for. Exceptional hospitality and a genuinely special experience. I would return in a heartbeat.
