We have stayed in Kuala lumpur many times in different apartment hotels but this was by far the worst. Firstly check in process was very poor and unprofessional, staff member basically handed us a card and took to the room and left. When we arrived at the room it was an absolute state, stank of cigarettes. Dirt everywhere, marks all over the walls, broken furniture. The toilet had a pool of water around it from a leak. Room was clean and had lots of extras like a washing machine, iron, slippers, fridge & freezer, kitchen utensils and more. My complaints would be that maintenance and upkeep of equipment in all of Malaysia is poor. For example none of the running machines in the gym were working and they all had signs on them saying Maintenance required. It is very, very quiet (felt like I was the only person in the entire building). Facilities work fine and are brand new. Reception staff also good. Biggest drawback: Jewel Oxley is not yet in any ride or delivery app, so couriers and drivers deliver to building next door or wait for you somewhere completely different.
