Room was clean and I had a top floor with perfect view of the River Kwai. Staff was very attentive and they had a full time security guests at night that was very helpful with parking at crowded times. Highly recommend. Not a far drive to outdoor market or bridge.

Great location. The room was clean and spacious and looked out on to the river. Very peaceful. However, for guests who wanted to lie by the pool, there are simply not enough beds. There was a whole terrace that lay empty apart from two beds and two chairs. I counted only nine beds in front of the pool. Clearly not enough. Otherwise, can’t fault the hotel or its staff. Great place to stay.

Staff were excellent. The whole hotel was very very clean.pool was very relaxing and the room view over the river was great. The only diwnside for us when we were trying to relax by the pool an old american man kept talking very loudly for almost an hour so we just gave up relaxing and decided yo go out instead. We came to find out that this man was not even a guest at the hotel which might raise some safety concerns for some. One night we were very tired and had dinner by ourselves at the hotel restaurant and the food was fabulous and the staff were extremely welcoming. Overall we would love to return as we love Kanchanaburi and really enjoyed the hotel.

Hotel and rooms are design lead but are in need of a little refresh. The place was clean and well appointed. The breakfast was fantastic. The pool area is excellent. Accessibility to the pool and restaurant is not great with steep steps and no handrail (no lift to this level). The staff were delightful. Easy walking distance to the bridge, cemetery and night market

I like the hotel. The location is excellent. We had a room with a river view and it offered a stunning outlook. Breakfast is lovely. The pool is very nice, and the grounds are green and well-kept. The only issue that bothered us was the uncontrolled air conditioner in the room. A bit more light in the room would be welcome. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Gorgeous hotel overlooking the River Kwai. Very clean hotel, good location, good facilities and friendly staff. Good variation for breakfast, would recommend!

Wonderful waterfront jucuzzi view. Breakfast was adequate with a beautifull view and attentive hospitality staff. Easy location for drinks and s few girlie bars and live music only a few minutes walk. I will stay at this hotel again in January and recommend it to other travellers

Such a lovely jacuzzi with river view! Lovely hotel with walking distance to shopping, river, coffee shops, bar and more! Great vegan food options right next door called ON THAI ISSAN VEGAN AND VEGETARIAN RESTAURANT! The chef also have cooking classes and it’s a great family friendly restaurant experience!

Nice accomodation facing the river. The furnishing is dated but the bedding pillows are decent. As the room faces the river, the other side of the river has live band so it is not suitable for people who are light sleepers (do bring ear plugs). Staff are friendly and the place is clean.

Good value, lovely view and jacuzzi

The rooms look like they have been recently renovated. Jacuzzi works well and looks sparkling clean. Has a lovely view of the river. Convenience stores and restaurants all within walking distance. Breakfast was decent. Worth staying again the next time I am in the area.

Lower quality than expected

River view is a lovely serene setting. Pool is a social setting. But everything else was rough around the edges. Walls and furniture are dirty/scuffed. Lobby is not a comfy hangout space it appears in photos. Some staff where more helpful than others. It was ok for a couple days. The price didnt match the quality in Thailand, but small changes could fix it.

We had a nice room with a great view, comfortable bedding and a spacious bathroom.The simple buffet breakfast at the Railway Restaurant was good. We didn't see any bar so assuming it was in the restaurant and according to Reception only operational during the day. Also if you wanted dinner you had until 5.30pm to place your order as it was room service only, the restaurant did not open. The slippers in your room are used so if you want to use them I suggest socks. There are no cable TV channels for English speaking only the French and DTW news. Room service is hit and miss with coffee and tea so you will need to ask Reception for teabags, sugar, etc. Most importantly there is a long laminated list in your room on every item and what you will pay if you damage, break or take. Consider it a souvenir they say.
