"Great place to stay. Large spacious room and comfy large bed. Sana and his family are very welcoming and helpful. Great breakfast plus we were treated to a Sri Lankan breakfast too. Sana took us on a morning excursion where we were treated to all the local wildlife, which was such an unexpected surprise. Would highly recommend stating here. Thankyou all."

"Danu's homestay is the real experience. 5 star service with many smiles. If your looking for an authentic Sri Lankan homestay experience, this is it. Sigiriya is a beautiful little town and Lion Rock is a must do. Get up early to beat the crowds and heat. It opens at 7am. We hired a scooter but Charu the father will drive you if needed. The family are absolutely loving,kind and generous. Make sure you have dinner with them. One of the best meals I've had in Sri Lanka. Now for the suprise...

"We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are quiet, located in a lovely garden setting set back from the main road. Our hosts were very helpful, arranging transportation to the World Heritage Sites and a local dance presentation. Hosts will prepare breakfasts and dinners. The dinners we ate there were excellent. "After all the hype of this property our expectations were not met. There appears to be a lack of attention to detail. Floor of our room was ‘grimy’ and had not been cleaned to the standard expected. Dirty bed linen and insufficient towels or water to cater for the number of booked guests. Breakfast was exceptional as were the breakfast staff. Wait staff in the pool deck were often hard to find.
