Hotels near Kansas City City Hall

"I was given an "upgrade" from a two-queen room to a king suite with a king bed and a fold-out bed. I was told blankets and pillows would be delivered so the fold-out would be usable, which, by the way, would require moving furniture to do so. I followed up on blankets/pillows three times, and finally, at midnight, I gave up. The "upgrade" was a lie, and I ended up paying over $400 for a space that was, for all intents and purposes, unusable. Add to that the fact that the entire lobby looked like it had been hit by a tornado, and the extremely rude staff. I will definitely not book there again, which is unfortunate because the location is ideal. "

"Clean room, has full size fridge, microwave, dishwasher and sink. In addition a pull out table and small 2 seat couch. I booked a one bedroom because that’s what I needed but I can see a small family sleeping here for the amenities. The indoor pool was clean and the breakfast smelled good (we woke late both days we were there and didn’t eat). This hotel is close to the free train that takes you to downtown Kansas area and it’s close to the Royals stadium (about 15min drive). I would def stay here again."

"You have to pay for a breakfast buffet and parking which is a bit much as you already pay for the lodging is my only disappointment "

"The breakfast was just ok - standard “hot plate” and cereal type stuff. The parking was across the street, convenient and I didn’t have any issues but it was just an open lot and not “secure”. "
