Room is spacious but the whole place (including the corridor) has a very strong, unpleasant mushy smell, which might come from the old carpet and furnitures.

Look good but can be more practical
The room looks great but some features are NOT practical, for example, you can't even find a place to hang towels in the bathroom.

Staffs are efficient and helpful. Buffet breakfast is delicious.The only downside is the room Aircond ,which I don’t like. This is central Aircond, where they set temperature at 23c . My bed is under the blower, you will feel pretty cool after 2 to 3 hours in the room.Once you turn off the Aircond, the room become stuffy where there is no ventilation , and windows cannot open. There sd once turn off the Aircond, Aircond fan will on. However, nothing blow out, the Aircond itself totally turn off. So, the whole night I couldn’t sleep, it’s either too cool or too hot/ stuffy. The next day, I booked another hotel to sleep.

A decent hotel 10-min walk away from City Council MRT station and 15-min walk away from Liuhe Night Market - convenient spot for tourists. Just not much decent restaurants around the blocks from the hotel. Staff was nice and friendly.

Room was very dirty
1) The service were good, anything you tell them, they will have someone come to you or help you right away. 2) Breakfast was good, lots options. 3) A little bit far from the MRT station, it’s about 15 minutes walk. However, there’s a bus stop 2 minutes from the hotel. A lot of restaurants and convenience stores. 4) The online pics of the hotel looked good, however, the room was disgusting and dirty. The carpet in the room looks like people had party before, a lot of stains. The water can drain out in the shower room, so I saw lots molds around the shower room tiles.

We are Muslim family of 4 travelling first time in Kaoshiung. Hotel was recommended as Muslim friendly but food serve was vegetarian. Hotel room was clean and quite big. We only book for 1 night so can't really comment much.

Fair stay in Kaohsiung
We stayed for one night only at the WO hotel and it was very cost effective, with a good breakfast. The hotel itself is quite dated and the room was not very clean or well kept up (i.e. mould in bathroom sink). The room does have air conditioning, bathroom amenities and a very big bed, but I would say the photos of the hotel and room make it look more shiny and new than it is.

Very good all round...
Apart from the inescapable and peculiarly dreadful Christmas Muzak (in November) this hotel scores 5* from me. The staff in particular were excellent.

Facility was clean. Staff was pleasant. Toiletries were supplied. Location is perfect. The breakfast was advertised western breakfast, but as an American I didn’t think it was very western. Some of the dishes were tasty though... I just don’t picture eating salad and soup for my breakfast when I think western food.

The hotel was close to our friends home, so we booked it. But, there were mold problems throughout the hotel. We tried three rooms, and none were free from mold odors. My wife is very sensitive to it so we had to find a new hotel. On the good side, the management was very Understanding and tried to help, but it just didn’t work for us

It was nice and clean at a great location. I love their free breakfast with a lot of different type of foods. I appreciate their giving us 2 free water bottles each day.

The breakfast ia da bomb. Beds r fairly comfy. First room smelt funky n changed to a bigger room next day. Eddie exhibited professionalism and Saber was ever so ready to help, always presenting a friendly face even when she was busy. I would recommend. Hope they can stop/catch smoking guests, and also overall smell!

Good location, great service
This is a great hotel, room is spacious, clean, tidy, housekeeping lady is very friendly. Hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from Love River, many restaurants nearby. Breakfast is great, range of choices, service is good. Overall we are happy with Wo hotel.
