While I appreciate the self check-in option, the lockbox system needs improvement. During one late-night arrival around midnight, I encountered an issue where the provided lockbox code was incorrect. When I called for assistance, the staff member who responded was unnecessarily confrontational, initially suggesting I didn't know how to operate a lockbox. As a real estate professional, I'm quite familiar with all types of lockbox systems. After several minutes, he verified that I had indeed been given the wrong code. This delay resulted in a 15-minute wait to access my room, which was frustrating after a late flight from another island.
Suggestion for management: Consider upgrading to electronic lockboxes to prevent similar issues and ensure a smoother check-in process, especially for late arrivals.
Otherwise, the rooms are well-maintained and the overall experience was positive. "
