"Got there a bit later than expected but my time there was nice the breakfast preparation was super nice and option to rent a bike for a whole day and little souvenir shops around with good food places made me wish I had gotten there sooner, def would go back to hopefully see the mountains better since it rained bad when I went."

"The hotel was very comfortable and clean, and the hosts were very friendly and polite. They accommodated our every need. There was a wonderful balcony and small garden, where we could enjoy Mount Fuji and relax while enjoying a cup of coffee. The room also had a separate washing machine with dryer, which saved us the trouble of having to go elsewhere for laundry. "We had a very nice time on our stay at this small quiet hotel. We had the Shikibu room and appreciated the spaciousness. It had an outdoor garden view as well as a separate private small outdoor onsen. The onsen looks tiny on first impression but it was nice and we enjoyed the outside seating area too. The beds were comfortable and the linens were nice, and definitely get the breakfast. Amazing breakfast! The staff were friendly and very helpful with transportation back to the train station....

"We had a lovely experience staying in Sakuya hotel. The owners were very kind and helpful, offered us shuttle van to go to town. Offered us private onsen which was very relaxing. Rooms were futon bed with a view of Mt Fuji, breakfast was so yum. Would definitely come next time. "
