We were surprised at the ambiance of the area. Quiet place, perfect for a group get together with the fire place at the Center of it all. Very impressed so much so that we will be back with more people.

The cottage was excellent it was clean it had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The distance to the lake is good and walking around the neighborhood is safe. Jennifer is a great host!

The property reminded me of the cottage I grew up with. The view of the sunsets was spectacular. it is rustic and simple. the enclosed front porch was great. Beach access was right across a small road. it was private and never crowded. we plan on coming back next year

We had a very disappointing experience at Parkview Cottages Resort. The cottage was not properly cleaned upon arrival. there was hair all over the place, bugs inside. Since my wife is 31 weeks pregnant, cleanliness and comfort were extremely important for us. We politely requested if a cleaner could come the next morning, but instead the owner reacted very rudely and asked us to vacate the property immediately around 10 PM. Because of the situation and the stress it caused, we decided to leave and drive back home late at night. Later, the owner did call and apologize, mentioning she was under stress, but the overall experience had already become very upsetting and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, this was not the relaxing stay we had planned, and I would not recommend this property based on our experience.

Our Family had a great time at the cottage, decent place for a toddler and a dog. They place feels homey-country style. Family ans pet friendly place ( toys for kids) fire pit, picnic table, Barbeque ,Boats ans kayak avail for rent. We will comeback in the future.

The place was overall good. It was in a nice location, the town is only a 25 minute drive with everything, nice beach but I do wish it was more cleaner. They did end getting people to come and clean but still. I think a deep clean would be a good idea. Aside from that, the grass in some areas was overgrown while in some areas it was not. The left over grass had not been raked and was all over the place. I understand the aesthetic look is rustic but I feel like some of the buildings need retouch. And the front porch areas for the houses should be kept up to date and not left with dead grass.

Our cabin (little #4) was the cutest, and very clean!! (No shower, but we were aware of that and, as we were only staying 2 nights, swimming and sponge baths kept us sparkling clean!) Beautiful view of the lake and its lovely soft, sandy beach one can walk out into forever! The owner, Jennifer was very helpful with any questions, via telephone and messaging, although we never did meet. Our neighbours were super friendly as were the summer and long term residents of the area we encountered. Great place!!!Would love to come back. The place is up for sale, however, so, here's hoping the right people, like Jennifer, get it!!

Everything was ok. Great place. Great vibes. Nature and beautiful. But second night me and my son were bit by numerous bed bugs and all our body is swollen with bites and painful. I hope they take care of this part. Did not sleep since 2:30am and was up all night. Now back home with medicines and itching and scratching all over our body. Its painful.
