"The pool area was beautifully maintained and relaxing. Took several walks by the ocean through a path from the hotel property. So convenient, with shuttle service to airport."
"Hot tub was broken and seems to have been for awhile, obviously this is an important feature to be missing. Some of the extras like chairs and umbrellas are not in great condition, although they were nice to have. The breakfast offerings were fine although I wouldn't call it a bed and breakfast. The kitchen was nice and the bathrooms and showers were good. Our room, the Hibiscus suite, was very nice with a comfy bed and pillows and a mini fridge. The major drawback of the suite is a bathroom isn't very close for use in middle of the night. Overall it's a nice place to stay, a solid 4 stars, but given the lack of a major feature, a hot tub, it lost another star."
"One of the best hotels I have stayed in Maui, from the cleanliness and the staff being wonderful, helpful, very welcoming, right away answer all our questions, regret not booking with them sooner, highly recommended 🙌 oh almost forgot! Breakfast was fresh and delicious!"
"We stayed at the Hilton for three nights after initially staying in Kaanapali. We chose to stay here for the proximity to sites like the Road to Hana and the volcano. The property is currently undergoing construction to expand. We were initially placed in a room that overlooked the construction site, not what we were expecting on our relaxing vacation. We were able to switch rooms the next day and the staff there were wonderful to help facilitate that. The staff were all extremely kind, helpful and welcoming. The first room was very clean, but the shower in our second room had hair in the drain and on the shower handle. We did like the room itself and it was nice to have a kitchen but we felt the room was noisy and didn’t offer much privacy to our neighbors. The rest of the property was nicely maintained. Our two children loved the pool and the waterslide. However, the view of the ocean is lacking and you have to walk across the street for beach access. We did like the proximity to Kihei and Wailea. Overall, we left feeling a little underwhelmed with our stay."
"The Grand Wailea is more than grand! You will not regret going there, unless you are a constantly angry, miserable soul. Even then, I believe the Grand Wailea can sweep those miseries away. Is it expensive, yes. Is it worth it, absolutely."
