"The staff was extremely professional and courteous family friendly atmosphere. The room we received was not an upgrade room but we choose to keep it because of the extra twin bed which was much needed being that it was 5 of us. The beds were a little uncomfortable but comfortable enough to sleep after a busy day."
"Overall it was a good stay, amazing view and scenery as soon as you pull up . More family activities would be nice . A little more family friendly restaurant would be nice just with the kiddos . I mean this place is extremely nice and it is pricy . The food is good the service is good , the car is nice for local use . I would recommend just be aware you’re going to be opening that wallet . I probably wouldn’t go back but only because the kid situation, it really doesn’t accommodate kids under 8 well . Beautiful please , no kids , sign me up . Kids probably not . Another thing they should give you a little bigger fridge with a mini freezer . No freezer in the tiny fridge ."
"The hotel amenities were nice; however, the hotel was not that clean. For two days, we saw the same dirty spot on the floor (it looked like a dried drink), and it wasn’t until the day before we departed that they finally mopped the floors.
We also saw a few roaches inside the room. They told us that this is normal in Maui, but for a hotel that charges over $1,000 a night, you expect a higher standard of cleanliness.
Other than that, the hotel is located in a very nice spot, and the amenities were amazing, especially the Grotto Bar."
"Our stay was amazing. The staff and service were absolutely off the charts. The newly opened spa was the nicest I have ever been in. The food at the adult pool and service by the bar staff was impeccable. The main thing that stuck out to me was the genuine kindness and pride that the staff puts into their work. They make you feel special and valued. The canoe experience with the beach staff was so fun. We hated leaving :(. We will be back as this is truly paradise. Thanks for making our stay so special! Mahalo!"
"We loved the three resident cats on the property and the whispering pine trees with hammocks. A very serene and peaceful place with nice breakfast buffet and real chill vibes. Cool wildlife too - geckos, anoles, toads, snails, and birds. Overall a lovely place. Best of all ... The staff was nice, helpful, and just all around great folks."
