"Loved EVERYTHING about this resort!! We went for our honeymoon! We checked in late (around 8pm), but the staff were still so energized, enthusiastic, and welcoming. Indonesia is super hot and humid, and they gave us this tamarind drink that was very refreshing. They upgraded our room, gave us 2 free drinks and appetizers, and had dessert waiting for us in our room. The room was beautifully decorated and super clean. We drink a lot of water, and they ALWAYS replenished the water bottles in our room. Every single staff member was so sweet and so kind. Especially the concierge Perdi, who was INCREDIBLY helpful throughout our stay. He helped us with our luggages to the 4th floor (no elevator), gave us contacts for drivers, snorkeling tour guides, and much more. The beach was nice, the pool was even better! Very family-friendly but also had a swim-up bar. Bartenders and servers were super attentive and friendly. The breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner menus was amazing. I loved trying all the Indonesian cuisine, and my husband loved that they also had western options. Lastly, the property was very well maintained. The coconut trees, all the beautiful flowers, geckos, baby sea turtles, and butterflies all felt very authentically Indonesian. We had the BEST time and cant wait to come back! "

"We loved our stay at the Oberoi Lombok for our honeymoon. It wasn’t perfect, but there were so many amazing elements. The private pool villa was large and lovely, the views divine, the staff so friendly and helpful. The beach experience / chairs / hammocks / service, just made for the most relaxing week. The hotel has not been renovated in many years, but as they keep it spotlessly clean and maintained this isn’t a big issue. Our air conditioning broke, but it was spotted by room service and maintenance fixed it very quickly. Nothing is too much to ask, the staff are all very approachable and after a few days knew us by name. The resort feels like it’s in a bit of a time warp - I could have been sat in 1999 - which I quite enjoyed. It was relaxing and nostalgic. If you didn’t fancy dinner in the main restaurant (outdoor tables, white tablecloths, musical entertainment), you could order the same menu to the bar or to your room. They were very flexible with the dinner package, which was appreciated. One night they did a special buffet dinner on the beach, which was really lovely. The staff needed some help understanding my husband’s food allergies, and this took a few days and a few scares. However, they were excellent at following up, and after an early scare were very attentive to it. We found understanding of allergies to be low across Indonesia, not just this hotel. Such a relaxing five nights, and I wish we were back there! "

"We can’t faulty anything! The service was impeccable. The staff really goes above and beyond for the customer. A major thanks to the restaurant staff, especially Suelee (not sure about the spelling). And a major thanks to the girls in the spa Reva and Ella, excellent treatments! The rooms were clean, large with a private pool and amazing view. We will definitely be back to this very hotel."

"The location was perfect, close to the shopping area and Restaurants. The beach was literally in front of the hotel, you need just to cross the road and are arrived. The hotel is a nice building, our twin room was very big. However, unfortunately, none speaks English or understand it. It has been so difficult even to ask simple questions or ordering a Cappuccino. The bath towels were always stained and the drain in the shower wasnt working properly, so during and at the end of a shower most of the water was still on the shower floor. I truly suggest to improve those things because the hotel has a lot of potential. "

"Really lovely hotel, it’s quite secluded so you either happy to be happy staying at the resort for food (which is really nice) or venture out with taxis/scooters. The breakfast is really good and substantial. The staff are lovely and there is a nice spa on site. The beach is nice, clean and quiet. The only thing that lets the place down is the WiFi, it’s awful. "

"Amazing stay! The room was very comfortable (the fancy shower is a plus). We ended up eating at the restaurant most of the time as it was great. The breakfast is super high quality, with home made bread, fresh fruits, great coffee, juice, and many options…the pools are both fine. The staff is really nice and willing to help. Would book again!
