Staff/Manager apologetic and refund the difference in cash.Was initially given a car park view room with balcony over a smoking area and cigarette smell coming up from below. Was promptly given a new room overlooking the river. Excellent hotel and facilities, staff friendly and everything clean. No USB outlet in room."

"Well, didn’t expect too much of it, but it turned out to be the coziest little ‘hotel’. Family owned with a very friendly hostess. Very clean room, stunning rural breakfast and a big balcony. A real throwback in time considering the standards, but that just adds to the charm! "

"Claimed not to have our booking for two rooms for two nights - not sure if them or hotels.com. Offered us one room for the three of us - not ideal, I’m convinced they did have other spare rooms. The location is ok. It wasn’t particularly clean and the Wi-Fi only worked occasionally. Not impressed. "

"The rooms are outdated and have a strong baby powder smell. While they provide the necessities, the furniture and overall condition need improvement — both chairs in our room were stained. There was also a private party during our stay, and the noise and music carried on until 2 a.m., making it hard to sleep. "Stunning stay in the hills above Gjirokastër. Beautiful hotel, food at the restaurant was amazing, stunning pool area and the staff could not do enough to ensure an amazing stay. If you are driving yourself to the hotel, do NOT follow Google maps, sure you ask for the road route video before you arrive to make life easier. The road leading through the town are very narrow and steep."

"The staff is wonderful. The room is nice and clean. The breakfast is fantastic as well. Parking is limited and the roads are tight. We pulled up and a male staff member unloaded our suitcases and then moved the car for us to where it could be parked. I would recommend doing this as we never would have known to park where he did. It is about 6 - 7 min walk from the bazzar and maybe 15 -20 min from the castle. I would absolutely stay here again."
