Hotel Ari

8/10 Good

"Wonderful breakfast. Room had sewer odor coming from the shower drain."

Hotel Restaurant Barbarossahof

10/10 Excellent

"We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Barbarossahof in Kaiserslautern! We hosted a party there, and the staff were incredible in helping us set up the room and prepare for the celebration. Everyone was welcoming, helpful, and quick to respond to our requests. Our hotel room was stunning, and the quiet surroundings made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely book again. Highly recommended!"

VELARIS – Stilvolle Lofts & Penthouses

8/10 Good

"The rooms were clean, but there were bare bones in this place. Hardly any places to put our clothes except one bar with some hangers. Absolutely no storage in the bathroom which was challenging. The laundry was fine but we had to get our own detergent which I thought was strange. There really wasn’t enough coffee pods for the entire duration of our stay. The rooms were nice and in walking distance to everything we wanted to do. 15 minute walk to the train station. The parking was simple and very helpful as there’s no street parking anywhere. In a place described as luxurious there could have been some upgrades that would make it stand out like more pillows, a dresser to put your clothes so you don’t have to dress out of your suitcase on the floor, and some bathroom amenities. Honestly it was very good, and we would stay there again. There are just some things that make it seem unfinished."

Hotel Garni 4U

8/10 Good

"Check-in was confusing and daunting. When I arrived in early evening, the front door was locked and the desk area was completely dark. Eventually, we went around back to look for humans, and some guests were playing ping pong and said the lady had been seen around earlier. The back door was open, though this added a flight of stairs to haul luggage up. Once inside, the dark desk had an un-labeled envelope on it and some signage in german indicating some numbers to call for help. One rang the desk phone and the other could be heard ringing on the other side of a locked door behind the desk. After lots of ringing, someone eventually showed up and said the envelope on the desk had my key. I got in and everything was fine, but this confusing experience added stress to an already long day. The hotel itself was nice. The room was great. Quiet, spacious, and very comfortable. The mini-split air conditioning was a real treat after a week of extremely hot temperatures in Spain and France."
