Clean, beautiful rooms with a stunning water view. The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to help. This was our second stay here for sporting commitments and the warm welcome remains consistent. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stress free experience.

Good location with a clean room. Few observations on this hotel. I believe they had become complacent as they are the main hotel in Strahan and act as such - they are connected/own the main restaurants it appears. Reception staff are not very welcoming - we arrived early, the town was not full and other guests appeared to get an early check in. We were told ours was not ready and when I asked could they call me whe. It was I was told they did k no it have permission to dial a UK mobile (really they are a tourist hotel!) - they advised they would email. I never received an email! The promotion of the room had inaccuracies. I booked waterview room (with stairs). We ended up in a room that required us to take our cases up a lengthy ramp - we were able to do this others may be less able. Need to make it clearer in room details. The room was comfortable but as others have said there is a tired look and feel about it - we had to request replacement bulbs in the main room and the bathroom, which were done effectively but question how often rooms are checked. Overall an acceptable stay but the customer experience delivered by the hotel needs some work or maybe they need more competition.

Fantastic. Staff friendly. Very quiet hotel even though fully booked. Location is fantastic close to different takeaways and cafes.
