Staff was more than welcoming and helpful. As a lesbian couple, we were comfortable there. Pool open all night. Happy hour and breakfast every morning was fantastic. Great place to stay.

Wonderful Relaxing Hotel
Wonderful staff, great follow guests, amazing atmosphere and a lovely breakfast. If you struggle with mobility, I would avoid the higher rooms. Those same rooms don’t have a full enclosed bathroom either so be sure you’re happy with that.

Absolutely wonderful destination fir a relaxing stay while in Key West. Can not say enough about the great staff— friendly, helpful, just happy to be working here. They could not be more accommodating!! Add to that complimentary wine in your room, daily happy hours by the pool, and full service cooked breakfasts that easily saves you hundreds of dollars on a 4- day stay. Can not give this place enough praise. We are already planning a return trip.

The staff and other guests were very welcoming and amenable! The breakfast and happy hour every day were beyond expectation and super tasty. The rooms were always cleaned and contained all the amenities that you would need. Very walkable to main attractions but the property is in a quieter part of town which is great for nighttime.

Great Gay Guesthouse
Clean, friendly, relaxed, Alexander's was the perfect get-away guesthouse. I was in Key West on business, and so didn't hang around much. But when I was there, the staff and the guests were friendly without being overbearing. The rooms were quiet and cozy and relatively spacious. There was a good selection at breakfast, and my only complaint about food is that they served coffee mate instead of real milk products for your coffee. Ugh! (A convenience store at the end of the block saved the day.) Though the beds were not up to the level of those in some pricey hotels, they were warm and comfortable. The cancellation policy is stringent...but maybe that is necessary in Key West. Overall, I can't wait to go back, and will do so on my next stay in paradise!

Yes, we do our best to create cozy rooms that are filled with comfort, our mattresses are all memory foam which create a wonderful nights sleep. Guests seem to love them. Also, I am sorry to hear that you felt you could not find actual milk for your coffee. We always suggest to guests to ask while you are here. We do actually have at the actual breakfast Individual Horizon Organic Milk and also Half and Half creamers. So we could easily have given you some. Lovely guesthouse with friendly staff. The rooms are very nice but the walls are thin and you ca hear everything. It's also very expensive for what you get.

Thank you so much for staying with us and also for taking the time to post a review:)) We are so happy to know that overall you enjoyed your stay. Yes, all of the houses are historic homes which have been renovated and the room which you stayed in was one of the four rooms on the inside of the house. Many of the other rooms don't have the issue of noise from the hallway as they all face outside. Our prices also, if a traveler compares them to other guesthouses/bed and breakfasts in town, one will see that our prices are really great. During the time of your visit, the room rates in town run $550-$1000 per night for a standard king...and don't even include breakfast and a daily free cocktail hour each day. Our rates remained in the $300's. So while it may be expensive if compared to other cities, it is important to compare to other local hotels, and one will see, we do our best not to gauge our guests. With inflation right now, all prices have gone up running hotels, but we still try to be fair to our guests. Thank you again so much for staying with us...we truly appreciate all of our guests. We hope to see you again one day!

We loved our stay at Alexander’s. Upon arrival Tim helped us with our bags and showed us the facilities. He also made some recommendations for restaurants. The breakfast and happy hour were fantastic. We had fun meeting the other guests. While there a tropical storm came through the area, Laura communicated with us via text the entire morning to make sure everything was ok. She even ordered lunch for the entire resort when the power went out. I can not say enough about their customer service. Our room was delightful. It was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The pool area and sun decks had plenty of space and were beautifully decorated. The lobby area was also gorgeous. The resort is at the quiet end of the street. We were able to walk to almost everything we wanted to do. They resort does have bikes on property for rent, which was convenient. We loved our stay and have already booked our return. I highly recommend this resort.

The pool was very nice and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast selection could be better, but was adequate. It would be nice if they offered lunch like sandwiches or something, but not necessary. Overall I loved the place. Probably the best stay I’ve had in Key West

Amazing team at Alexander’s
Loved this place. The team at Alexander’s are amazing — helpful, charming, outgoing. The place is cute and comfortable too, though our room was a little cramped (low ceilings and weird toilet/shower/sink layout). Would definitely stay again (in another room!) and highly recommend.

What a cute little guesthouse tucked away in the historic Key West neighborhood. Tim was amazing and made us feel right at home from the time we arrived to helping us with things to do and renting our bikes to the time we left. Paola was great in the mornings with a different yummy entree for breakfast every morning.

Relaxed getaway
Had a mid week trip and found it very relaxed and enjoyable. Staff are all very friendly and hospitable. Definitely a mixed crowd--gay, straight, male, female, but chill and friendly.

Beautiful aesthetic, lovely pool, very friendly and accommodating staff, awesome location close by Duvall Street. Overall, just really great and probably my favorite home away from home I've rented. The daily breakfast (awesome Blood Marys!) and complimentary happy hour were also super fun and a cute opportunity to meet fellow travelers. Highly recommend their very reasonable priced cruiser bike rentals!! It's a great way to spend the day. THANK YOU and I will definitely be back!
