Serena Beach Resort and Spa

"I have stayed at the Serena several times over the past 20 years. In fact, of the 80 countries I have visited the Serena in Mombasa is still my favorite place in the world. The staff, including front dest staff (namely, Althuman) and the wait staff are outstanding. Many are long-term staff who have obviously been well-trained in customer service. The Maisha Spa is always worth a visit. The property is beginning to show signs of aging so I hope there are plans to upgrade it, while not loosing its Swahili Coast charm. I have been a fan for a long time and will be back again!"

"Very helpful staff, very good food and excellent location. The buildings are not connected with each other properly, so you haver to walk a lot and can easily get lost. Also gym is not available in the building and closes at 4 pm on Sunday????"

"The property was very relaxing. The amenities were very convenient and right on the beach was a plus. We enjoyed the pool and restaurants also. I would suggest to guests that they shouldn’t expect earlier check in other than the 12pm time. Other that we enjoyed the beautiful property."
