"From the moment we arrived we were very impressed with this hotel, grounds and surroundings. From the friendly doorman to Dermot the concierge who took our bags, ordered our taxis etc, to the lovely receptionists and that was before we took in the beautiful decor, comfort and layout of bars and restaurants and before we got to our bedroom which was more like a suite as was huge with a lovely view of the estate. The food was excellent and it was lovely to chill in the little bar area at reception...

All the hotel staff were very professional and friendly especially Oscar at reception who assisted with our requests and made our stay the most memorable. facilities are great! Rooms are spacious and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast could have been a bit better and also hotel is a bit out of the way from the town. Hence why its more of a hotel to stay in for 1 or 2 nights. It would be ideal for travelling and catching the ferry the next day. Also lots of work men staying in the hotel so less families and more workmen/ business men. "
