"Staff were excellent, food was good, beds comfortable. there was a smell from the cesspit that lingered all weekend, and the Pool could have been cleaner. Overall very nice stay"
"Breakfast was fantastic - fresh fruit and lovely cooked breakfast. Staff were lovely. On the downside - the mattress was so soft it sunk straight down to the divan below; also the bathroom needed a dust and clean (skirtings/doors etc)"
"Hotel is in amazing Peak District area. Located above the pub but we wasnt bothered about any noice. Room and amenities are a bit dated but its comfy and pleasant. Its great for the location."
"Just got back from an amazing overnight stay at Park Hall Manor. Our stay was fantastic. The house and Ladybower 2 suite, that we stayed in, is just stunning and Steven and Kris are fantastic hosts. Their attention to detail is second to none!
Breakfast was fresh, well cooked and a good choice of continental and cooked options were on offer.
The bed was firm but sumptuous and we slept well.

The grounds are beautiful with the added pleasure of seeing 2 peacocks and a family of ducks.
A lovely added extra is the honesty snack bar in the upstairs landing, handy for anyone needing a midnight treat 😉
We will definitely be returning to this property.
Thanks again Steven and Kris. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!"
"This is the first time I’ve stayed at the Waltzing Weasel. It felt like an home from home and the owners were amazing. I cannot fault this hotel. The surrounding areas are also wonderful. The breakfast on the morning is first-class. I’ll definitely be back."
"Stayed here 2 nights. The chef Elvis outdoes himself with Michelen star quality meals. The Crab Salad and Pork Rigatone were faultless. Best meals I have eaten in Europe. Friendly bar staff and spacious room with first class bathroom. Mattress needs replacing though."
"Fantastic stay. Please dont be put off by the lack of reviews on here. Myself and 3 friends had a brilliant long weekend. The cottage is nicely decorated and very clean. Bedding and towels were included (the description for the cottage says otherwise, but they are there). A full working kitchen with all the equipment you need. The log burner was set up and ready to go to.
The only thing missing was shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom, so take that with you. Everywhere else was very well equipped though.
Sitting at the front of the cottage was lovely, listening to the birds and the stream.
Dont let the lack of private parking put you off, we had 2 cars and always managed to park.
The pub is a 5 minute walk away. The food was good enough, not outstanding but did the job and the ease of walking to it was a real bonus.
Would thoroughly recommend! "
